This Privacy Policy explains how Asfandyar khan ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Clean Up: AI Phone Cleaner (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information the App Accesses

To help you free up storage, the App needs permission to access media on your device:

  • Photos and videos (via Android's READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, or storage permission on older Android versions). This allows the App to scan your gallery to find duplicate photos, similar photos, screenshots, blurry photos, and large videos.

The App reads basic file details (such as file name, size, and date added) and image content only to detect duplicate, similar, and blurry images. This analysis is performed locally on your device. We do not copy, collect, upload, or retain your media.

2. Storage Information

The App reads your device's total and available storage space to show you how much space is used and how much can be freed. This information is displayed only on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

3. Deleting Files

When you choose to delete files, the App uses Android's built-in system delete mechanism. On supported Android versions, deleted items are moved to your device's Trash, where they typically remain recoverable for about 30 days before being permanently removed. You decide which files are deleted; the App never deletes anything without your action and the system's confirmation.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or location. We do not track your usage or behavior, and the App does not send your data off your device.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Google Play. The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google may collect certain information as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Security

Your photos and videos are processed entirely on your device and are not transmitted to us or any server. Because your content stays on your device and under your control, it is protected by your device's own security.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Your Choices

You can grant or revoke the App's access to your photos and videos at any time through your device Settings. Revoking permission will disable the App's cleaning features.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective date." Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
